Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana brought a theatrical vision of Italian dress to the international runway. Their Milan breakthrough came in 1985, followed by collections that joined Sicilian references, corsetry, lace and leopard print with emphatic tailoring and celebrity glamour.

About Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana
Their work draws on the screen presence of Italian actresses as well as religious and decorative traditions. The partnership later extended this vocabulary into Alta Moda, launched in 2012, where regional craftsmanship and elaborate embellishment became the focus of destination presentations.
