Dries Van Noten grew up around his family’s clothing businesses and opened his first Antwerp boutique in 1985. MoMu describes his design process as beginning with prints, followed by silhouettes and embroidery.

This fall/winter 2015–16 ensemble combines multiple patterned surfaces. Its recorded materials include silk, wool, polyamide, polyester, acetate, viscose, feathers, leather and cotton, reflecting the variety of components in the complete look.
