Greg Lauren

  • Reclaimed textiles
  • Deconstructed tailoring
  • Distressed surfaces

Greg Lauren transforms reclaimed and vintage textiles into clothing that questions familiar menswear types. His practice emerged from art: the 2009 exhibition Alteration included hand-sewn paper versions of uniforms and suits, alongside wearable pieces made from repurposed materials.

About Greg Lauren

Fraying, reconstruction and the collision of refined and worn surfaces connect the resulting garments to questions of identity and self-presentation.
