Karin Segerblom

  • Body-conscious basics
  • Practical layering
  • Considered pattern cutting

Karin Segerblom helped establish Filippa K in 1993 and developed its collections through a close attention to everyday wardrobe needs. Trained in cutting, French and business studies, she described design as identifying clothes she felt were missing, from comfortable trousers to tops for layering. Her approach favoured neat, body-conscious shapes and garments that would retain a useful life after the season.
