Swedish designer Lars Nilsson developed his career in the workrooms of major European and American fashion houses, including Christian Lacroix, Christian Dior and Ralph Lauren. He later directed collections for Bill Blass and Nina Ricci, combining an understanding of couture construction with an interest in colour, prints and feminine ease.
