Robert Rodriguez trained at the Fashion Institute of Technology and worked at Christian Dior before launching his namesake label in Los Angeles in 2003. His collections combine elegant dressmaking with easy modern separates; he subsequently returned to New York and became creative director of Derek Lam in 2025.
