Behind the design
Quant's green dress brings a row of pale buttons and contrasting sleeve bands to an otherwise simple shape. The Met records wool and plastic, and dates it to 1966–67. Viewed beside the magenta example from the same period, it demonstrates variation in sleeves, closures and surface accents within an accessible modern wardrobe.
